Turó Park Medical Center enables you to book and pay for your PCR test online. You will also be issued with an official results certificate that is ‘Fit To Fly’ which you can use for your travel at no extra cost.

Your results will then be sent directly to you within 24* to 48 hours. *To get your results in 24 hours, there is an additional fee of 30€ to be paid at the laboratory immediately after the test.

Gràcia Lab - Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00, Saturday- Sunday from 08:00 to 11:00. Closed on Saturday and Sunday afternoon and public holidays.

Eixample Lab - Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00, Saturday- Sunday from 08:00 to 12:00. Closed on Saturday and Sunday afternoon and public holidays.

The address of the laboratory will be indicated in your booking confirmation that you will receive to your email.

PCR test in Barcelona: the most frequently asked questions

The PCR test, also known as RT-PCR for "Reverse Transcriptase-PCR", is a molecular diagnostic test that shows when a person contracts the virus It, therefore, makes it possible to know whether a person is a carrier of Covid-19 at the time the test is carried out.
The PCR test consists of a nasopharyngeal swab, i.e. a kind of soft cotton swab is inserted into each nostril of the patient up to the nasopharynx for a few seconds.
