Dr. Pablo Vergés is a specialist in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at Turó Park Clinics and has experience in national and international centres in Barcelona, Ohio, France and Valencia.
As an otolaryngologist, he treats a wide range of conditions related to the ear, nose and throat, including oncological pathologies, skull base disorders, thyroid and parathyroid gland surgery, and reconstructive head and neck surgery. He is also an expert in endoscopic nasosinusal surgery and anterior skull base approaches.
Education
Dr. Vergés graduated in Medicine at the International University of Catalonia and completed his residency in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery at the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital. He has completed specialised training, including specialisation in head and neck oncological surgery at the Otorhinolaryngology service of the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital, in endoscopic pituitary surgery at the Vall d'Hebron Hospital, in head and neck and anterior skull base oncological surgery in Ohio and in otology at the Causse Ear Clinique in France. He also completed a fellowship in oncological and reconstructive surgery of the head and neck at the Instituto Valenciano de Oncología.
He is currently an Assistant Doctor in the Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery Service at the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital, where he is reference in oncological and skull base surgery.
Dr. Vergés has actively participated in the training of residents and has been an instructor in various head and neck surgery courses. He has presented papers at national and international congresses and has published articles in high impact journals on topics related to otorhinolaryngology, including olfactory and taste dysfunction in the context of COVID-19 and advanced techniques in head and neck surgery.
