More than a massage, Kobido is an ancestral Japanese art that stimulates the muscles and tissues of the face from the surface to the depths. The nape of the neck, the neck and the neckline are also worked on. This treatment alternates pressure, modelling, smoothing, stretching, friction and vibration for an immediate lifting effect after the session.

The benefits of Kobido massage:

  • Improve the quality of the skin from the first session (freshness, suppleness, toning of the face).
  • Cultivate a "healthy glow" and give yourself a face lift
  • Draining and toning effect for the face and/or body

Relaxing massage

During this massage, we take special care of the atmosphere, creating a space of relaxation and calm through temperature, soft light and aromatherapy. The movements are firm and progressive, releasing the tension accumulated in the muscular tissues and providing a feeling of relaxation.

Our answers to the most frequently asked questions about massages

How to prepare for a massage?

To get the most out of your massage session, we recommend that you drink plenty of water to prepare your body to better eliminate toxins. Also, for comfort, wear light, stretchy clothes such as gym clothes and tie your hair back if you have long hair. Finally, remember to arrive a little early to avoid unnecessary stress and do not hesitate to express your expectations and/or fears to your physiotherapist before starting the massage.

When is the best time of day to get a massage?

For best results, the massage session should be done in the morning before going to work or in the evening at the end of the day. During these times, the body is more than willing to benefit from the relaxation movements performed. Of course, if you can't schedule your session at these times, don't worry, you'll still get the full benefit of your massage.

Can a massage cause pain?

Too much pressure during a massage can lead to aches and pains the day after or the day after the treatment. This is because the muscles may become tighter, rather than looser, in order to increase their resistance to the pressure and pain felt. Do not hesitate to inform your physiotherapist if you feel that the pressure of the massage is too intense.
