Dr. Eugenia Romano is a general practitioner and disease specialist at Turó Park Clinics. A leading professional in the field of infectious diseases and healthcare management, she has extensive experience in both medical practice and the pharmaceutical industry. She also developed in the field of prevention working on vaccines and being coordinator of the Vaccination Center of the Armed Forces of the National Gendarmerie in Argentina.

She has worked in a variety of medical settings, from hospitals to private practices, always focusing on providing the highest quality care to her patients. As an infectious disease specialist she diagnoses, treats and prevents infections caused by microorganisms. She is passionate about teamwork and knowledge sharing, which allows her to contribute significantly to the advancement of her field and the well-being of her patients.

Training

Graduated in medicine at the University of Buenos Aires, she later completed her specialization in Infectious Diseases (MIR) at the Hospital Eva Perón in San Martín (2012-2016), regional hospital referral center for HIV patients. She has training in Travel Medicine Hospital Infectious Diseases Francisco Muñiz (2015) and in the Latin American Society of Travel Medicine (2019-2020). Training in sexually transmitted diseases (SADI 2019), endemic and emerging diseases (SADI 2020), diseases associated with health care (SADI 2021) and is a university expert in Tropical Medicine and Infectious Diseases (SADI 2022-2023) by the Catholic University of Murcia (2022-2023). Intensive course in antimicrobial therapy ''Dr Drobnic'' Hospital del Mar (2024).

Medical Societies

Dr. Eugenia Romano is an active member of several medical societies, including the Official College of Physicians of Barcelona (COMB) and the Spanish Society of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology (SEIMC). She is a former member of the Argentine Society of Infectious Diseases (SADI).
