Barcelona International Community Day!
Barcelona International Community Day will take place next Saturday, October 21st at the Maritim Museum and will present a full day programme of activities aimed at the expat community in four different areas: personal landing, doing business, enjoying the city and family activities.
The event boasts a full programme with over 40 activities, including conferences, roundtables and workshops, networking, animation and children’s activities. The fair will feature 78 exhibitors, 15% more than in the previous year, offering specialised products and services to meet the needs of people arriving in Barcelona from all over the world.
Turó Park Medical Center will be present at Barcelona International Community Day at the B-27 stand and we will have chats and activities with our Doctors and Dentists all day long.
More than 40 activities of interest to the international community
The Museu Marítim de Barcelona will be playing host to a series of activities and workshops held throughout the day, organised under a variety of formats and of varying duration. The activities will focus on four main areas:
- ‘Personal landing’, providing useful information and services for newly arrived people settling in Barcelona, whether with family or on their own.
- ‘Working and doing business’, for those developing a professional career or investing and doing business here.
- ‘Enjoying the city and making contacts’, presenting Barcelona’s attractions and range of cultural and leisure offers, and connecting with local people.
- ‘Entertainment activities’, providing animation and enjoyment for the whole family.
The programme’s activities will hold discussions on a range of topics, such as: the financial keys for starting up in Barcelona; the health system in Catalonia; choice of schools for newcomers’ children; important factors to take into account when creating a company or job hunting. Presentations will also be given on the city’s cultural scene, offering tips on enjoying the city with the family and the best places for running and doing sport.
Thanks to its wide variety of irresistible proposals, over 4,000 people hailing from over 100 countries signed up to last year’s Barcelona International Community Day.
We remind you that to attend Barcelona ICD on Saturday 21st of October, you just need to get your free ticket here.
