Dr. Celia Marcos is a gynaecologist in Barcelona, her extensive experience in this speciality developed in different clinics and hospitals in Spain (Valencia, Madrid and Barcelona) and outside Spain (Belgium and Switzerland), allows her to address a wide range of gynaecological and women's health conditions with a thorough and empathetic approach.

Education
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Valencia in 2001, she specialised in Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the Hospital Clínico Universitario de Valencia between 2002 and 2006. In 2007, she completed a master's degree in Pelvic Floor Surgery, followed by a European University Diploma in Operative Endoscopy in Gynaecology in 2008 in France. His doctoral thesis, defended in 2009, explored the correlation between three-dimensional Doppler ultrasound and tumour neoangiogenesis factors in uterine fibroids, obtaining an excellent Cum Laude grade.
Her continuous participation in congresses and refresher courses, such as the Specialist Course in Medical-Surgical Applications of Laser in Women's Health and obtaining the "Board Certification in Hormone Therapy" from the International Hormone Society, are evidence of her commitment to professional excellence and continuous improvement.
This strong academic background has provided her with a robust foundation for her medical practice, enabling her to provide the highest quality care to her patients.

She is actively involved with several medical associations such as the AEEM (Spanish Association for the Study of Menopause), the AEPCC (Spanish Association of Cervical Pathology and Colposcopy) and the SEGO (Spanish Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics).
