Do you need to take a PCR test in Barcelona to travel?
[agenda-online]
Due to the current epidemiological situation, some countries require the presentation of a negative PCR test carried out 48 to 72 hours before departure (variable depending on the country) to enter their territory.
Turó Park Dental & Medical Center allows you to book an appointment and pay for your test online, and then go to one of our partner laboratories to carry out the test. Your results will then be sent directly to you by the laboratory within 24 to 48 hours (additional fee of 30 € for results within 24 hours). You will also be issued with an official results certificate that is ‘Fit To Fly’ which you can use for your travel at no extra cost.
Important information for travellers entering the Spanish territory
All passengers aged 6 years and over who come from a risk country/area in relation to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, must present, in order to enter Spain, a certificate with a NEGATIVE PCR result (or TMA and RT-LAMP), carried out in the 72 hours before arrival in Spain. This certificate or supporting document must be the original, must be written in Spanish, English, French or German and may be presented in paper or electronic format.
From July 1, 2020, if you fly to Spain from other countries (including children of any age), it is mandatory to fill in the Health Control Form (FCS) associated with your trip, in order to present it at the Health Control of the airport of arrival in Spain.

The PCR test consists of a nasopharyngeal swab, i.e. a kind of soft cotton swab (swab) is inserted into each nostril of the patient up to the nasopharynx for a few minutes. The procedure is not painful but can be uncomfortable.
