Dr. Claudio Sampieri is an ENT specialist at Turó Park Clinics. His surgical interests are dedicated to head and neck oncological surgery, skin surgery, transoral minimally invasive surgery, oral cavity disease, salivary glands surgery, sleep disorders and sleep apnea, laryngeal diseases and voice surgery and office-based laryngeal procedures.
Education
He graduated cum laude at the University of Florence (Italy) and he obtained the specialization in otorhinolaryngology in Genova (Italy). Afterwards he completed a 1-year fellowship program in head and neck and robotic surgery at Yonsei Medical College in Seoul (South Korea).
He has spent time at several international centers (Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery department - Vrije University medical center, Amsterdam and Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery - Universidad de Granada Hospital among others). Now is a consultant at the otolaryngology department at the Hospital Clinic in Barcelona where he dedicates to the diagnosis and treatment of the upper aerodigestive tract diseases.
His research interests are focused on transoral laser and robotic surgery, enhanced visualization techniques in endoscopy and artificial intelligence in the field of diagnostics and surgery. He has been invited lecturer at several international congresses of otolaryngology and he is very active in the international scientific community.
