Dr. Lequerica specialises in General and Digestive Surgery, a field she mastered at Vall d'Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona. Education
Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine of Santander, University of Cantabria. Dr. Lequerica began her career as a Volunteer Assistant Physician in the Cardiovascular Surgery Department at the University Hospital "Marqués de Valdecilla" in Santander. She then specialised in General and Digestive Surgery at Vall d'Hebron Hospital, Barcelona. A significant part of her career involved serving as an Emergency Attending Physician in General and Digestive Surgery at the same hospital, and later, she took on similar roles at the Municipal Hospital of Badalona and the Josep Trueta University Hospital in Girona.
She is also notable for her association with Quirúrgica Barcelona SLP, where she progressed from an Attending Surgeon to a Managing Partner Surgeon.

Associate Member of the Catalan Society of Surgery since October 1994 and Associate Member of the Spanish Association of Coloproctology since January 2006.
